Lohar-an-Brokvar and Pascal Ador were sharing the hospitality of the Zy-Vel, a group of gypsy storytellers. The Zy-Vel have a power known as Shadowplay, in which they can ask the fire to tell a tale.
The heroes awoke from their night of revelry and jubilation in the Green-Man Tavern, in the village of Weldgrenz. A few are a little beaten, hungover, but mostly everything is in order.
Lohar lit the candle and it gave him a vision of the past.
“A tall dark creature with pale hair and many small creatures both dark and pale were building an Ark. Four cloaked men watched over them…”
The Questers took turns on watch in Tertravalle Forest. Lohar was joined on his watch by Aemaeon. There was a terse and sober conversation about destiny, fatherhood and choice.
The Questers met on the bridge connecting Hern and Carmalek with Rakab and Aemaeon bringing fifty Hernish warriors with Sergeant Elgus in charge. Ten Hernish soldiers were sent back to Silverstream…
The Questers pressed onto the third tower of Qorth-Azell. From a distance they could see fires from within.
The Questers entered into the Mountain Hall of the Pale Beast. There lay a huge white dragon upon the icy hall. Beneath the ice was buried a great hoard of magic and treasure.
The Questers made for Rajatar, running across the Palarian wastes. They thought it no accident went they saw a white tree that bled in a cold glade.
Lohar scoured the corpse of the Mind Master and found a symbol with nine jagged swords and a crown in the centre, the grey skull mask, 200 electrum pieces and the small black and purple amulet. He also took the flying skull that was perhaps the Mind Master’s wizardly focus.
The Questers further interrogated the elvish assassin sent by the Cabal of Azarak. They took him back to the bath salt warehouse, where Ovni waited safely.
